Diorama Weather, operated by Diorama Labs LLC ("we", "us"), displays weather forecasts and generates stylized AI artwork ("dioramas") and short animations from photos you upload. By using the app you agree to these terms.
You must own or have the right to use any photo you upload, including any necessary permission from people who appear in it. Don't upload photos of other people's private property without permission, or unlawful content. You keep ownership of your photos and of your generated dioramas and animations, which are yours to use and share. Because AI models can produce similar results for similar inputs, we cannot guarantee that content generated for you is unique to you.
By uploading content, you grant Diorama Labs LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, publicly display, distribute, and otherwise use your uploaded photos and generated content to operate, improve, develop, and promote our products and services — including developing and training our own machine-learning systems and creating new features and products. This license survives account or content deletion only for (a) content you have chosen to share or let us feature, and (b) de-identified or aggregated data that no longer identifies you or your content. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to derive biometric identifiers (such as face templates).
The photo you upload is processed by Google's Gemini AI and is subject to Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy. Animations are additionally produced via the Kling AI API (operated by LOHAS GAMES PTE LTD, an affiliate of Kuaishou Technology) and are subject to Kling's terms and content policies. You must not upload content that is sexually explicit, that depicts, sexualizes, or endangers minors, that is violent or graphic, that promotes hatred or harassment, that is otherwise illegal, or that you do not have the rights to use. Uploads that violate these rules may be rejected automatically, and we may suspend installations that repeatedly submit them. When a photo is rejected, the credit is returned.
Dioramas and animations are produced by third-party AI models (Google Gemini and Kling AI). Results are stylized interpretations, vary between generations, and are not guaranteed to satisfy any particular expectation of likeness or quality. Each generation, extra take, weather pack, and animation consumes the stated number of credits at the moment it runs.
Because this output is produced by automated models, it may occasionally be unexpected, inaccurate, or — despite the content filters applied by us and the model providers — objectionable. The app is intended for personal entertainment, and generated results are provided "as is"; you view, use, and share them at your own discretion. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for AI-generated output, and you agree not to use the app to create or share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that depicts, sexualizes, or endangers minors. If a generation produces content you find objectionable, please report it to albertsong@gmail.com and we will review it promptly; we may remove content and suspend installations that repeatedly produce or submit violating content.
Purchases (the one-time unlock and credit packs) are billed by Apple under their terms. Credits have no cash value, do not expire, are tied to your installation, and are non-transferable. When a paid generation fails, the consumed credits are automatically returned. If service capacity is briefly unavailable, your request may be delayed or refused with your credits untouched. Refunds of App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
Forecasts come from Apple WeatherKit and other providers and are supplied "as is" — do not rely on the app for safety-critical decisions. Severe-weather information is informational only; always follow official guidance. Air-quality data is derived from preliminary US EPA AirNow reports and may be revised.
You agree not to abuse the service — including attempting to bypass purchase requirements, tampering with credit balances, scripting generation requests, or interfering with the backend. We may suspend service to installations that do.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the app in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
